"An amazing reclusive quiet location set within a courtyard"

From the North...

Using the M6 south come off at Junction 36 exit. Bear left, signposted Kirkby Lonsdale. You are only 10 minutes away from the cottage/a little piece of heaven at this point. Follow the A65 for 6 miles all the way to the town. Pass a BP petrol station on the right hand side. Go past the first sign to the town centre and continue to the next roundabout. Booths supermarket is on the left -hand side. Turn left at this roundabout onto Dodgson Croft and go straight ahead to a T-junction. Turn left at this T-junction then sharp right onto Michelgate, which is a steep road going downwards. At the T-junction at the bottom of the hill turn left then immediately left again through the archway and into the courtyard with Chapel Cottage on your right.

By Train...

The nearest railway station is Oxenholme, Cumbria (about 20 minutes drive away). Taxis are available.

The Archway...

You do have to drive through this ancient stone archway to get to Chapel Cottage. I advise you to put your wing mirrors in and have a passenger guide you through. This should never be blocked, and provides access to three cottages in the courtyard.

Parking...

There is a parking space on the driveway of the cottage and parking for a second car, if needed, in front of the garden wall. We would really appreciate our guests being considerate with parking, showing courtesy to the neighbours in the courtyard. Google Map... View Larger Map
